What a blessing it was to have Brother Mike Kellett and Brother Robert Ables join us. In this episode, Mike and Robert tell us the history of One Kingdom and its early beginnings, from domestic missions to international missions and the beginning of World Radio. These two dear Brothers in Christ are a wealth of knowledge and great warriors for the faith of Jesus Christ. The Excenere Ranch is a special place where many have found healing and freedom. This is where JJ, Elizabeth, and their children began healing. Elizabeth was raised in a devout Catholic home and attended Catholic School. In this episode, Elizabeth tells us her story and how she worked through the struggles of her conversion from Catholicism to Christianity and her current walk with Jesus Christ.

The story we sought to capture and tell is a two-year period when Bryan became an employee at Duck Commander. Grant Taylor joins us in this podcast to tell his side of Rucker's story. A story that will reveal a friendship of love and accountability that has been built over the years. Bryan and Grant paint a beautiful picture of the ups and downs, victories and defeats, disappointments and extreme joy, and showing unconditional Love that will change Bryan's life forever. Through that love, Bryan was able to see Jesus who loves him for who he is and will never give up on him. 47. Dane 'Burly'Jennings | A Walk with Christ | Failure and Addiction | Jan Robertson Dasher

If you have watched the Unashamed podcast with Jase & Phil and the Duck Call Room podcast, you have heard the name "Burly" mentioned numerous times. Burly has also made appearances on both podcasts. Burly is also one of the original Duckmen. I want to know more about Burly and his story if you are like me. It just so happened that I served at the last WFR Men's Retreat, and Burly attended. Throughout the weekend, I had several opportunities to sit and talk with Burly. There, I found a man who is very humble, very giving, loves Jesus, and has a heart the size of the globe. Over the weekend, Burly and I exchanged contact information and asked him to be my guest on Let's Talk Fortitude. Burly lives in Colorado, so we had to work out a time that he would be duck hunting in Louisiana. Dates were agreed on three months prior. The anticipation and excitement were excellent! Burly also allowed us to record in the Duck Commander Lair; what an honor. We also had the opportunity to see inside the Unashamed podcast studio. A massive Thank You to Al Robertson as well!
Once we started recording, Burly did not disappoint! His love for Jesus and his servant's heart come out immediately! By profession, Burly is an RN in the ICU. If I or one of my loved ones ever ends up in the ICU, I can only pray to have a Dane "Burly" Jennings caring for me. Burly speaks of what he does and why he is an RN. He talks about dealing with the feeling of failure and his struggles with addiction.
Moreover, Burly talks about the saving grace of Jesus Christ! This man can preach! I hope you enjoyed our conversation with Burly as much as we recorded it with him. Curtis and his wife Julie live in Marshalltown, Iowa, where Curtis has been the Faith Open Bible Church pastor for the last four years. Curtis and Julie were both born and raised in southern West Virginia. He is a wonderful man of God and loves Jesus. I invited Curtis to be part of the Impact and Influence series to bring his view from a small town in Iowa. Curtis is an absolute joy to be around and an intentional encourager.

Paster Jarrett has been the Senior Pastor of Swarts Baptist Church for just over a year. He loves to preach the Word of God in an expository delivery form. We talk about the impact of the men's and women's retreats, the importance of true discipleship, and what that looks like. Jarret is also an avid hunter and wants to pass that heritage down to his two sons.

44. Dr. Bill Dye | The Gap | The Barn Bible Study | The Wave of the Holy Spirit | Influence & Impact

Pastor Bill has been the Pastor of North Monroe Baptist Church in Monroe, LA, for just over 20 years. Bill talks about some leadership struggles when he arrived 20 years ago. We learn more about who Bill is, his upbringing, his education, and how he met Amy. Bill also talks about the Retreat Ministry and how it fired up men and women in his church to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And what it's like riding that Tiger. He also talks about attending a Bible study in Union Parrish, LA.

43. Influence & Impact from Athens, Greece | Missionary Larry Bowles | Follower of Jesus Christ

Larry is the only named contributor to the Unashamed Podcast with Phil and Jase Robertson. Larry is a very well-studied and literate man of the Scriptures, both New and Old Testaments. Larry and his wife Cathy have been involved with missions in Athens, Greece for the last 12 years. There, they minister the Word of God and introduce Jesus to Iranian and Afghan refugees. In this episode, Larry and I discuss Influence and Impact as part of the Pastoral View series of the Let's Talk Fortitude Podcast.

At the time of this recording, Jeff was the Senior Pastor of Norway Ave Church of Christ. He retired in late October. Jeff is also a Professor in the Marshall University Counseling Graduate Program. He is a wonderful husband to Kim and father to three beautiful ladies.
